This means that the immunoglobulins (IgG) come from sprayed dried colostrum or sprayed dried serum or plasma. Measuring serum IgG levels in the calf, they found that 54 percent of calves fed one bag of replacer had failure of passive transfer. Of the calves fed one and a half bags, only 5 percent failed.
